About Hopper 3
Hopper 3 was one of those straightforward platformers you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a simple, functional game you could play in a browser. The goal was always clear from the start.
You control a small, blocky character navigating a series of floating platforms. Your job is to move left and right, jump from ledge to ledge, and collect every red ball scattered across the stage. Once all the balls are gathered, a star appears. Touching it completes the level and sends you to the next. The controls are basic, using the arrow keys to move and the spacebar to jump. The challenge comes from the precision needed for some leaps and the placement of the collectibles. The pacing is quick, with each level presenting a self-contained puzzle of movement. It feels like a focused test of timing and route planning.
