About Hopper 2

Hopper 2 was one of those straightforward platformers you'd find on Flash game sites in the mid-2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, challenging test of timing and reflexes. You controlled a simple character, often just a block or a basic sprite, and your world was a series of floating platforms suspended in space.

You moved left and right with the arrow keys, jumping with the spacebar. The goal was to ascend through the level by hopping from one platform to the next, avoiding enemies and gaps. Some platforms moved or disappeared after you touched them, forcing you to keep your momentum. The game had a relentless pace; you couldn't stop for long without falling behind or into danger. It felt like a constant, focused scramble against gravity and the clock.
