About Hollywood Bash
Hollywood Bash was one of those games you'd find in the Flash era, a simple brawler that felt right at home on a browser. It came out in 2005, made by a studio called J2B. The game traded on a specific kind of tabloid humor, letting you step into a celebrity feud.
You control a celebrity, moving left and right with the arrow keys. The moment to moment play is about timing. You throw left and right hooks with the A and D keys, and you block incoming punches with S. The main objective is to knock out your opponent before they do the same to you. The mechanics are straightforward: you watch for openings, block when you see a punch coming, and try to land your own combos. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can spike if you miss your blocks. It feels like a rapid, slightly chaotic test of your reflexes.
