About Ghost Soccer

Ghost Soccer was one of those simple, fast sports games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be a simulation. It was just soccer stripped down to its basics, made for a quick play session between other tasks. The graphics were clean and functional, letting you focus on the action without distraction.

You control a team of players from a top-down perspective, moving them around the pitch with the arrow keys. The moment-to-moment play is about intercepting passes, tackling to steal the ball, and creating an opening. Your main objective is to outscore the opposing team within the time limit. You pass with one button and shoot with another, with the shooting mechanic requiring some timing and positioning to beat the keeper. The pacing is relentless; the AI applies constant pressure, making even simple advances feel earned. It feels like a frantic, condensed version of the sport where every possession matters.
