About Down Boy
Down Boy was one of those simple, quick games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just loaded it up in your browser and started playing. It was the kind of game you'd try during a short break, maybe between classes or before moving on to something else.
You control a small character who seems to be falling from a great height. Your job is to guide him down through a vertical shaft, avoiding the walls and obstacles that appear. You tap the arrow keys to move left and right, trying to stay in the open center. Sometimes you press the spacebar to summon a small cloud, which can slow your descent for a moment. The goal is to survive for as long as possible, seeing how far down you can go before you crash. The game starts calmly, but the speed picks up, and the gaps in the walls get trickier. It feels like a constant, focused balancing act against gravity.
