About All-star Dodgeball
All-star Dodgeball was one of those games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the mid-2000s. It fit right in with the era's simple, fast-paced sports titles you could play in a browser between other tasks. The game had a clear, cartoonish look that made it easy to pick up.
You control a team of characters on a single-screen court. The moment-to-moment play is about moving your player with the mouse, aiming your throws, and trying to hit opponents with the ball. Your main objective is to eliminate the other team by hitting them while dodging their throws. You can catch incoming balls to add a player back to your side, and the court has walls that let you bounce shots at tricky angles. The pacing is quick, with rounds often ending in a frantic scramble when only one or two players are left. It feels like a focused, physical game of tag where every throw matters.
