About All Star Skate Park

All Star Skate Park was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the mid-2000s. It fit right in with the simple, physics-based sports titles that were popular then. You loaded it up in your browser, and within seconds you were on a skateboard.

You control a lone skater in a small, flat park. The moment to moment play is about building momentum and trying tricks. You tap the spacebar to push off and gain speed, then use the arrow keys to perform ollies, kickflips, and grinds on the few rails available. The main objective is to chain these moves together for a high score before your time runs out. The physics are floaty and forgiving, making it easy to land basic jumps but tricky to string combos without losing control. It's not a difficult game, more of a casual time-passer where you try to beat your own previous best. The game feels loose and slightly unpredictable, a quick distraction built for a few minutes of play.
