About Tunneler

Tunneler is a split-screen competitive game for two players. Each controls a tank placed at random within an underground maze. The primary objective is to locate and destroy the opposing tank.

Players must excavate tunnels to navigate the subterranean space. This creates a dynamic where both participants can see each other's progress on screen, making the hunt challenging. Discovering an opponent's tunnel network reveals your presence to them, granting them positional awareness while you must deduce the correct path through their passages.

Strategic tunnel design, such as creating false branches and dead ends, becomes a key element of gameplay. The shared visual information means that direct confrontation is preceded by a phase of deliberate excavation and tactical misdirection.
