About Capture the Flag

Capture the Flag is a turn-based strategy game for one or two players. Teams compete to seize the opposing flag from a large, divided field featuring varied terrain that impacts unit movement.

Each side of the field is initially hidden from the other, requiring exploration to reveal the enemy's layout and locate their flag. Units possess a finite number of movement points per turn, and the cost to traverse each space depends on both the terrain and the chosen movement mode, which trades between speed and visibility.

Stealth is a challenging factor, as enemy units can capture any intruders found on their home territory, sending them to a prison and removing them from play. Conversely, discovering and reaching the opponent's prison allows a player to free their own captured units. Victory is achieved by moving a unit onto the enemy's flag.
