About Machiavelli: The Prince

Machiavelli the Prince is a trading simulation set in 14th century Italy, where the player manages a powerful Venetian family. The family's influence extends across both sea and land trade routes during this period.

Its design is derived from the political analysis found in Niccoló Machiavelli's work, "The Prince," which examined the era's religious and governmental dynamics. The game itself is a revised version of the earlier title Merchant Prince.
