About Times of Lore

In Times of Lore, the player controls a hero who explores a kingdom in real time, traveling across different landscapes and into settlements and dungeons. The narrative context involves a realm left vulnerable after its injured king disappeared, requiring a new champion to confront threats and retrieve powerful Artifacts.

Players select from three character types a barbarian, a knight, or a valkyrie each with their own strengths. Progression involves completing tasks, which advances the story and grants access to better equipment and basic consumables like potions. Interaction with other characters is managed through a system of key phrases.

Combat encounters feature a limited roster of enemy types, such as skeletons, orcs, and rogues, which appear in different variations. The game blends action with light role playing mechanics as the hero works to restore strength to the weakened kingdom.
