About The Legend of Kyrandia

Hand of Fate is the second game in the Kyrandia trilogy. The setting faces a crisis as the kingdom itself is vanishing, a problem the previous game's protagonist, Brandon, was not able to permanently solve.

Players control the sorceress Zanthia, who discovers the official solution proposed by the high council is ineffective. Her investigation points to a giant hand in the possession of her friend Marco, suggesting deliberate sabotage is the true cause of the disappearance.

The gameplay maintains the point-and-click adventure mechanics of its predecessor. Interaction uses a single cursor on highlighted environmental objects, with no separate verb commands or branching dialogue trees. A central activity involves collecting components to combine into magical spells, which form the basis for many puzzles.
