About Mine Bombers

Mine Bombers is a DOS title that adapts the core mechanics of a Bomberman-style game into distinct single-player and multiplayer formats. A central shop allows for the acquisition of weapons and bombs between rounds.

The single-player campaign consists of fifteen levels, each populated by monsters. Starting with three lives, the player begins each stage in the upper left corner with the objective of locating an exit door. This exit is hidden by a Fog of War and its position is randomized, making progression challenging. Successful players are recorded in a Hall of Fame based on how far they advance.

Multiplayer supports up to four participants, who start in the corners of the arena. The primary goal is to gather treasure within a time limit, though players can also attack each other for a large cash bonus. A round concludes when time expires, all treasure is collected, or fewer than two players remain alive. After each round, players return to the shop to resupply. The overall winner is determined by either total accumulated cash or the most individual round victories.

The game also includes a built-in Map Editor for custom level creation.
