About Digger

Digger is an arcade style game where the player operates a digging machine to collect gems and gold bags found underground. Progression to new stages is locked behind gathering all the gems present in each level.

Hostile creatures called Nobbins and Hobbins inhabit the tunnels. While Nobbins move slowly, they can transform into the much faster Hobbins. These enemies are confined to the pathways the player carves out, as they lack the ability to dig through solid earth themselves.

The player has several methods for dealing with threats. A single, rechargeable shot can be fired in the direction the machine is facing. Alternatively, strategic digging can cause gold bags to fall, crushing any enemy below. Occasionally, a bonus item appears that grants a short period of invincibility upon collection.
