About Ishar: Legend of the Fortress

Ishar: Legend of the Fortress continues the story from Crystals of Arborea, focusing on a new antagonist. This villain is Krogh, the offspring of the previously vanquished Morgoth and Morgula, who now operates from a stronghold called Ishar. His objective is to enslave the populace of Kendoria.

The player controls a traveler who can be joined by a party of up to five other characters. Their shared mission is to fight through this fortress to confront Krogh and contain the forces of chaos he represents. A significant shift from the prior game is the adoption of a fully first-person viewpoint for exploration and combat.

This combat system operates in real time, a departure from the turn-based mechanics of its predecessor. The gameplay involves navigating the fortress and engaging in battles to ultimately defeat the central threat.
