About Tetris Battle Gaiden

Tetris Battle Gaiden is an action puzzle game designed for competitive play, supporting matches against either a human opponent or the computer. Its core mechanics extend beyond standard block placement, introducing character-specific powers that are activated by collecting yellow orbs.

The roster includes eight selectable characters, with two additional hidden ones, each possessing a unique set of four special abilities. A defining feature is the shared block queue between players, which introduces a strategic layer where opponents can compete for advantageous pieces.

For solo play, a Story Mode is structured across nine distinct levels, each presenting a different character opponent to defeat. This mode provides a challenging progression through the game's cast.
