Street Racer was developed by Vivid Image and published by Ubi Soft. The SNES version was released in 1994, which is also the earliest commercial release of the original game on any platform.

About Street Racer

Street Racer is a kart racing title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Its structure involves progressing through a series of three leagues, with advancement to the next contingent on winning the current one.

Players can compete against up to seven computer controlled opponents or engage in split screen multiplayer for up to four participants. The available vehicles, of which there are eight, possess distinct attributes such as speed and durability.

The racing experience is augmented by items found on the course, including explosives, speed boosts, and restorative health packs.
