About Mōryō Senki Madara 2

Mōryō Senki Madara 2 is a Japanese role-playing game that draws its narrative from the Madara manga and anime. Its story unfolds across two distinct settings: a contemporary version of Japan and a fantastical, myth-inspired medieval realm.

The central plot involves the warrior Madara, whose father, the Emperor Miroku, dismembered him in infancy due to a prophecy. Rebuilt with artificial limbs, Madara learns of his destiny to overthrow his father. The player, however, assumes the role of Kamishiro, a modern teenager. After entering a strange shrine with his girlfriend, he is tasked by a princess to journey to the other world and assist Madara in his quest.

Gameplay involves navigating these worlds and encountering characters from the source material, including Madara's brother Kage-Ou, while uncovering links between the timelines. Combat occurs through random encounters using a turn-based system viewed from a shifting third-person perspective. Players issue commands by pausing these automated battles, during which characters reposition on the field to execute attacks. Party formation can be altered, and a range of magical spells is available for use.
