About G.O.D: Mezameyo to Yobu Koe ga Kikoe

G.O.D: Mezameyo to Yobu Koe ga Kikoe is a role-playing game where players control a protagonist named Gen. The narrative begins with Gen's discovery of a cave and a mysterious object in 1999, an event that leads directly to an alien invasion. He awakens a decade later in 2009 with no memory of the intervening years, finding Earth under alien occupation and himself part of a human resistance.

Gameplay involves navigating a world map and various locations, engaging in turn-based battles against randomly encountered enemies. These combat sequences are presented from an over-the-shoulder perspective. Character progression includes the development of special abilities known as chakra, which can be enhanced alongside the party members themselves.

The core objective for Gen becomes a global journey to assist the remaining human population and uncover the truth behind the extraterrestrial attack. The setting shifts from a peaceful, small Japanese city to a worldwide conflict with many urban centers destroyed.
