About Equinox

Equinox continues the story established in its predecessor, Solstice. The player assumes the role of Shadax's son, embarking on a rescue mission after the hero's capture by a witch.

Gameplay involves navigating both an overworld map and a subterranean realm, though primary interaction occurs underground. Progression is structured around dungeons, each requiring the defeat of a guardian to advance. The core experience is built on puzzle-solving, with some obstacles requiring specific weapons or magic spells found during the quest.

The presentation uses a colorful isometric perspective to render its three-dimensional environments. Its mechanics, which include searching for keys, confronting monsters, and solving environmental puzzles, share conceptual similarities with other adventure titles of its era. The integration of combat and puzzle elements makes for a challenging experience.
