About Warrior of Rome

Warrior of Rome presents a strategic challenge set in the Ancient Roman period. The action is viewed from above, with the map composed of square fields where military forces appear as icons.

Combat between opposing units occurs automatically upon contact, with these encounters displayed in dedicated windows. Player commands extend beyond simple movement, including instructions to construct defenses like palisades or set traps. A key tactical option is the ability to order a retreat, and units will also automatically flee from losing battles. After withdrawing and resting, these units recover their full combat strength.

The game's progression is organized across four levels, each with specific objectives such as eliminating pirate ships. To achieve these goals, the player selects individual units and directs their movement across the map.
