About Splatterhouse 3

Splatterhouse 3 concludes a horror trilogy where protagonist Rick, now married with a son, must don a supernatural mask again after an entity kidnaps his family. The setting is a large mansion divided into six levels, where clearing rooms of demons is the primary objective.

Gameplay involves navigating the mansion's rooms, which now allows movement in multiple directions. Players manage a time limit and can consult a map to plan efficient routes to boss encounters. The experience remains graphically violent, featuring weapons like bats, axes, and cement blocks that can be lost if the player is knocked down.

Collectible items restore health, grant extra lives, or fill a power meter. When this meter is full, Rick can temporarily transform into a more powerful mutant form. The game features multiple endings determined by player performance and uses footage of real actors for its story scenes.
