Sol-Feace

Review
Also known as
Sol-Deace

A 2D shooter with six levels and customizable weapon firing patterns for tactical combat.

Sol-Feace was released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1990 (as Sol-Deace in North America). The original game was also released in 1990 on the Sharp X68000, making the Genesis version a same-year release.

About Sol-Feace

Sol-Feace, released as Sol-Deace for the Sega Genesis, is a two-dimensional shooter. Its progression takes the player through six distinct stages, concluding with a final confrontation.

A selection of weapon enhancements can be acquired during play. These include plasma-based attacks, lasers, and missiles. The defining mechanical element is a flexible armament system, allowing the player to reconfigure powered-up weapons to suit immediate threats. This enables firing patterns such as focused spreads or directional shots oriented vertically or horizontally.
