Klax

Review
Also known as
Midway presents Arcade Hits: Klax クラックス

Catch colored tiles to form matching rows, columns, or diagonals as speed and complexity increase.

Klax was originally released in arcades in 1989 by Atari Games. The Sega Genesis version was released in 1990 by Tengen in North America and by Domark in Europe.

About Klax

Klax is an action puzzle game where players intercept descending tiles of various colors. The primary objective involves arranging these tiles into specific formations, which vary from one stage to the next.

Success is achieved by creating lines of a single color, whether horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The experience becomes challenging as later levels introduce more colors, increase the tile drop speed, and send down multiple tiles simultaneously.
