About Growl

Growl is a single-player action game set against early 20th-century poachers who threaten various species with extinction. Players select one of four characters to combat these enemies primarily through hand-to-hand fighting.

Environmental interaction provides tactical options, as objects like crates and barrels can be thrown. Defeated foes may leave behind weapons such as swords, whips, or firearms, though guns have limited ammunition before becoming melee tools. The player's mission involves intervening in scenes of animal abuse, which when stopped turns the rescued creatures into allies for the remainder of the stage.
