About Fantasia

Fantasia is a game set within the Sorcerer's Apprentice segment of the Disney film, casting Mickey Mouse in a quest through a dream landscape. His objective is to retrieve musical notes that have been scattered across four distinct elemental realms: Water, Earth, Air, and Fire.

These worlds are populated by various magical beings, from marching brooms and dancing hippos to jumping cactus and flying horses. The soundtrack directly incorporates classical compositions featured in the movie, with works by composers such as Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Stravinsky providing the audio backdrop.

Gameplay involves navigating these environments while managing Mickey's capabilities. He can defeat enemies by bouncing on them or by employing spells of varying potency. To maintain his progress, he collects special items like spell books, stars, potions, and dinosaur eggs, which replenish strength and award bonus points. Discovering a wooden door grants access to a bonus area rich with additional magical items.

Progress is gated by collection goals. After completing a level, Mickey presents the gathered notes to an orchestra conductor. If the quantity of notes or points is insufficient, the conductor returns him to continue searching, making the pacing fair and contingent on thorough exploration.
