About ESPN Sunday Night NFL
ESPN Sunday Night NFL is a football simulation for the Sega Genesis that includes all 28 official NFL teams and their logos. However, the absence of an NFLPA license means player rosters do not feature real athlete names.
Its structure offers several ways to play, from a single match to full season and playoff brackets. A specific mode recreates the complete 1994 NFL schedule. Game progress can be preserved using a battery backup save feature.
The presentation incorporates variable weather that influences on-field action. Broadcaster Chris Berman provides commentary and also appears on the game's packaging.
