About DJ Boy

DJ Boy is a side-scrolling beat-em-up where the protagonist must rescue his kidnapped girlfriend from local antagonists. The game is structured into distinct rounds, each concluding with a boss encounter.

Players control DJ Boy using a combination of punches, kicks, and a flying attack. A simultaneous button press allows for a dual-sided punch. The visual presentation is noted as being less harsh than other games of its type, though the experience is considered challenging due to a strict life system. The character has only four life bars, and losing them results in a game over with no option to continue.

Defeated foes drop coins, which serve as a currency between stages. These coins can be traded for various power-ups, such as a skateboard or an enhanced punch.
