About Chakan

Chakan presents a platforming experience distinguished by its integration of magic and weapon based abilities. The protagonist is an immortal warrior seeking release from a curse, which requires conquering four elemental realms.

Progression is tied to defeating a boss in each realm to obtain new weapons. These tools, such as a mallet or grappling hook, grant specific movement and interaction capabilities, like breaking walls or performing a double jump. A separate alchemy system allows the player to mix collected potions into spells that provide temporary enhancements, including flaming weapons or invisibility.

The design incorporates these magical and tool based systems directly into level navigation, with certain areas requiring specific spells to pass. This approach, combined with a per level timer, contributes to the game's challenging nature.
