Bonanza Brothers ボナンザ ブラザーズ

Stealthily loot treasures from guarded buildings while evading or stunning security within a strict time limit.

Bonanza Bros. was originally released in arcades in 1990. The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version was released in 1991.

About Bonanza Bros.

Bonanza Bros. is a game where players control either Mobo or Robo, two characters tasked with retrieving specific items from a series of buildings. The premise involves a mysterious figure who has hidden these objects to test his security, offering a reward for their successful recovery.

Gameplay involves navigating ten different structures under a strict three-minute time limit per building. Each location is patrolled by guards who will trigger an alarm if they spot the player. To manage this threat, the characters are armed with non-lethal bullets that can temporarily incapacitate guards. Being caught results in a financial penalty.

An in-game map assists in locating the required treasures within each building. After completing every third building, a distinct bonus stage occurs. Here, the objective shifts to collecting gold bars while avoiding detection by moving spotlights, with successful completion awarding a significant point bonus. The bonus stages present a challenging variation on the core stealth mechanics.
