About Ball Jacks

Ball Jacks is set in a futuristic arena where two robot crabs, each controlled by a human pilot, compete. The objective involves securing the opponent's large metal balls from a rotating conveyor belt and maintaining possession until a timer expires. Each crab is equipped with two independently operated claws, which can both seize balls from across the arena and dislodge them from the adversary's grasp.

Players must manage defensive concerns alongside the primary goal, as attacks from the rear will cause damage. Sustaining excessive damage forces a retreat to a pit area for repairs, introducing a challenging risk element to the aggressive gameplay.

Multiple modes are offered beyond the core versus match. The primary single-player experience is the World Championship, a progression against increasingly skilled computer adversaries. For direct competition, a two-player versus mode includes various handicap settings. Additional options include a training mode for mastering the controls and a time trial focused on collecting a maximum number of balls within a set limit.
