Q*bert

Review
Also known as
Cubert Gottlieb's Q*bert Q*bert for Game Boy Snots and Boogers Qバート

Guide a character to change tile colors on a pyramid while avoiding enemies.

Q*bert was originally released in arcades in 1982. The NES version was released in North America in 1989 by Ultra Games (a subsidiary of Konami), not by Parker Brothers or Gottlieb.

About Q*bert

Q-bert is an arcade title where the player directs a character across a pyramid of tiles. The objective involves altering each tile to a specific color by landing on it, with the required number of hops per tile increasing as the game progresses, making it challenging.

Various enemies, such as a snake named Coily and others called Slick and Sam, move around the structure to hinder progress. Additionally, falling balls present another hazard. For escape, floating discs along the pyramid's edges can be used; jumping onto one while pursued by the snake will eliminate the enemy and return the character to the top safely.
