Marble Madness

Review
Also known as
マーブルマッドネス

Guide a marble through isometric courses, avoiding obstacles and racing against time.

Marble Madness was originally released in arcades in 1984. The NES version was released in 1989 by Milton Bradley in North America.

About Marble Madness

Marble Madness presents a challenging navigation task where the player controls a marble through a course. The primary objective is to reach the end point without colliding with hazards or leaving the designated path.

An isometric viewpoint adds complexity by altering the player's perception of movement direction. This perspective, combined with narrow pathways and hostile entities that must be evaded, defines the core obstacle avoidance gameplay.

Play can occur against a time limit or in a competitive format for two participants. In this mode, the focus shifts to a direct race between players to complete the course first.
