Pinball Quest

Review
Also known as
Pinball Quest: The World's First Pinball Fantasy!

A pinball RPG where you battle enemies and find keys across six multi-screen tables to rescue a princess.

Pinball Quest was originally released in Japan for the Famicom in 1989, and the NES version was released in North America in 1990.

About Pinball Quest

Pinball Quest presents itself with a role playing framework, though this primarily involves accumulating gold to purchase equipment upgrades like flippers and stoppers. The central experience is built around several distinct pinball tables, each spanning multiple screens.

One major segment features six such tables where the ball is used to strike enemies, locate keys, and ultimately achieve the objective of rescuing Princess Bali. Beyond this, the game includes other specialized tables with their own themes: sports, golf, and a circus environment. The circus table incorporates a slot machine and a bonus round where balls are thrown at animals to save a pursued girl.
