About Jordan vs Bird: One on One

Jordan vs Bird - One On One is a sports simulation for the NES that pits two famous basketball players against each other. The core experience allows for a direct half-court match between Michael Jordan and Larry Bird, which can be played to a set point total or for a specific duration.

Each athlete brings a distinct skillset to the court, reflecting their real-world strengths. Jordan is characterized by speed and exceptional jumping ability, while Bird relies on accurate outside shooting and defensive steals.

Beyond the standard one-on-one game, two specialized contests are available. One is a three-point shooting challenge where the player must efficiently make shots from five racks around the arc within a sixty-second limit. The other is a slam dunk contest that evaluates a series of dunks based on precise timing, with judges scoring each attempt.
