Navigate hazardous roads, bump enemy cars off the course, and use jumps to clear obstacles and gaps.

Bump 'N' Jump was originally released in arcades in 1982. The NES version was released in North America in 1988 by Vic Tokai.

About Bump 'N' Jump

Bump 'N' Jump is a top-down action racing title where players navigate a vehicle through hazardous courses. The primary threats are rival cars that actively attempt to force the player's car off the road, requiring defensive bumping to clear a path.

A key mechanic is the car's jump ability, which is dependent on maintaining sufficient speed. This function serves a dual purpose: it allows the player to vault over clusters of enemy vehicles and is necessary to clear breaks in the roadway and other obstructions.

The game's progression is challenging, as later stages feature increasingly narrow roads populated by a greater number of more aggressive opponents and more frequent obstacles.
