Fill scrolling blocks to form complete rectangles and clear the screen.

Quarth (also known as Block Hole) was originally released in arcades by Konami in 1989. The Game Boy version was released in 1990.

About Quarth

Quarth is a puzzle arcade title where the player controls a craft that moves horizontally. The objective involves completing geometric shapes by filling in gaps within a field of scrolling blocks.

Gameplay is challenging due to the constant downward scroll introducing new incomplete blocks. The session ends if any block line reaches the screen's bottom. Successfully forming a rectangle or square causes those blocks to vanish.

The structure is divided into levels, each containing nine areas. Clearing the final area advances the player. A ten second prompt appears after a failure, allowing the option to retry the current level. A separate battle mode supports two players.
