About Pocket Golf
Pocket Golf is a Game Boy title that presents its golf gameplay entirely from a top-down viewpoint. This perspective is consistent for all shots, from drives on the fairway to putts on the green.
The interface dedicates most of the screen to the course layout, while a panel on the right displays the golfer and a power meter for shot execution. This sidebar also provides contextual data such as the selected club, wind conditions, the hole's layout, and the type of terrain the ball occupies.
Players can engage in solo play against computer opponents, either in direct matches or structured tournaments. For competition with another person, the game offers a two-player mode requiring a link cable, supporting both match play and stroke play formats.
