About Ikari no Yōsai 2

Ikari no Yōsai 2 is a top-down action game where players navigate maze-like areas, shooting enemies and occasionally locating keys to progress. The mission involves two special agents, Masato Kanzaki and Mizuki Makimura, who must infiltrate a secret base to destroy a new ultimate weapon.

A central mechanic is the ability to instantly switch between the two agents, who possess complementary attributes. Masato moves slowly but has high stamina, while Mizuki is faster but less durable. This strategic difference replaces the power-up system from the first game, as effects like increased attack range or power are now inherent to each character.

Gameplay retains the core concept of its predecessor but introduces diagonal movement. Players must avoid enemy contact to preserve life energy, though health pick-ups are available. Special weapons for each character are selected from a menu and have unlimited ammunition.
