Double Dragon 3 Double Dragon 3: The Arcade Game Double Dragon III: The Rosetta Stone

Battle through Egypt using shops to buy power-ups and defeat your strongest adversary.

Double Dragon 3: The Arcade Game was released for the Game Boy in 1992 by Acclaim/Tradewest, while the original arcade version was released in 1990.

About Double Dragon 3

Double Dragon 3 for the Game Boy concludes the series with brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee embarking on a new mission. Their journey begins after a fortune teller informs them of a significant threat located in Egypt, against which the Rosetta Stones could provide assistance.

A notable addition is the inclusion of in-game shops. These allow players to purchase various aids for their characters, such as enhanced capabilities, additional attempts, and special maneuvers. Among the purchasable upgrades are power-ups that significantly increase the protagonists' physical size, which in turn expands their attack reach and the damage they inflict.

The visual presentation marks a shift from earlier entries, adopting a more realistic aesthetic for the character designs instead of a cartoonish style.
