About Battle Unit Zeoth

Battle Unit Zeoth is a side-scrolling shooter set in a future where Earth faces a recurring robotic alien threat. The player pilots a combat mech designed to counter these attacks.

Gameplay alternates between horizontally scrolling shooter segments and simpler platforming levels, with a boss encounter concluding each stage. The mech can fire in four directions and its standard weaponry can be upgraded. Movement includes a jetpack function that requires active input to maintain altitude.

The challenge is structured around a single life for the mech, which can sustain limited damage, but the game provides unlimited continues, making the overall difficulty fair.
