About WWF Attitude
WWF Attitude for Game Boy Color is a 2D professional wrestling game from 1999, developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by Acclaim. It builds upon the foundation of the earlier WWF War Zone, introducing a full-color presentation and an updated roster of twenty wrestlers.
Player progression is handled through several distinct modes. The Challenge mode tasks the player with climbing the rankings to earn a title shot, requiring victories over higher-ranked opponents in standard matches and cage bouts against lower-ranked ones. A new Career mode consists of a gauntlet of fights against every other wrestler in the game, while the King of the Ring mode is a straightforward eight-person tournament. Progress in both Challenge and Career is preserved using a password system.
In-ring action is controlled using three buttons for a variety of attacks, grapples, and drops. Each competitor possesses a unique signature finishing move, though the method of executing these moves has been standardized compared to the previous title. The main menu also provides access to short biographical profiles for all featured wrestlers.
