About Tonic Trouble

Tonic Trouble for the Game Boy Color is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. Its narrative involves the alien janitor Ed, whose accidental spillage of a toxic substance on Earth leads to widespread mutation.

This situation is exploited by the antagonist Grock, while Ed is tasked by agent XYZ with rectifying the mess. The core gameplay involves navigating Ed through levels, utilizing basic movement and jumping to progress.

Players must contend with environmental hazards including pits and unstable platforms, as well as hostile mutated creatures. While sharing its core premise with other versions, this portable iteration features distinct level design and a purely two-dimensional presentation.
