About The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley

The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley is a puzzle platformer where the player controls the two sisters and their dog, Clue, to solve environmental challenges. Progress is organized into five distinct cases, comprising a total of fifty levels, with a password system allowing players to resume from the start of each completed case.

Each stage requires the player to retrieve a puzzle piece from a cage, which is opened by flipping a switch. The three characters possess unique abilities that must be used cooperatively. Ashley is essential for activating switches and can also pick up and throw Clue, which can stun enemies. Mary-Kate provides a higher jump, allowing the others to use her as a stepping stone. Clue can access tight passages, swim, and serve as a movable platform.

Obstacles include hostile creatures like monkeys, bats, and rats, alongside environmental dangers such as spikes and unstable footing. If the primary objective proves difficult, an alternative exists to gather three hidden clues within the level, which then reveal the solution for obtaining the puzzle piece.
