About Mary-Kate & Ashley: Get a Clue!

Mary-Kate & Ashley: Get a Clue! is a Game Boy Color puzzle adventure featuring the Olsen twins as young detectives. The game is structured around solving five distinct mysteries, with each case comprising eleven stages for a total of fifty-five levels.

Progress is achieved by collecting puzzle pieces, one per level, which are locked inside cages. To reach these, players must utilize a trio of characters with complementary skills. Ashley operates switches to open pathways and cages, and can also lift and throw the dog, Clue. Clue himself can be thrown to access areas, can swim, and can act as a platform for other characters to gain height. Mary-Kate provides a significant jumping boost when other characters bounce on her, and she possesses the highest individual jump.

Success in each stage depends on coordinating these unique abilities to overcome environmental obstacles and finally secure the puzzle piece. Solving the complete puzzle for a given mystery concludes the case.
