About The Flintstones: Burgertime in Bedrock

"The Flintstones: Burgertime in Bedrock" is an adaptation of the "Burger Time" arcade concept for the Game Boy Color. The setting is a fast food restaurant managed by Mr. Slate, where players control either Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble in their new jobs.

Core gameplay involves constructing oversized burgers by traversing platforms and stepping on ingredients like buns and salad to make them fall onto a waiting plate. This task is complicated by various enemies that must be avoided or dealt with. The game spans 25 stages, some of which employ horizontal scrolling.

Players can collect temporary power-ups, such as a Buffalo Hat or an Elvis Guitar, which provide abilities like increased speed, brief invincibility, or assistance from the family dinosaur, Dino. Progress through the levels is recorded using a password system, and narrative moments are presented through cartoon style cutscenes featuring the show's characters. A competitive multiplayer option is available via link cable.
