About Spawn

Spawn for the Game Boy Color is a platforming game based on the comic book, where the player controls the hero through four combat stages. The gameplay primarily involves navigating both horizontal and vertical environments, overcoming obstacles, and engaging enemies.

Combat is focused on melee attacks like punches and kicks, though firearms with limited ammunition can occasionally be found. One stage features a motorcycle sequence, altering the standard movement. Enemy encounters range from common thugs to periodic boss fights.

The experience is shaped by three selectable difficulty modes. These adjust enemy durability and stage access, making the combat more strategic on higher settings. The challenging hard mode is required to unlock the game's true conclusion.
