About Hype: The Time Quest

Hype: The Time Quest is a Game Boy Color title where the player controls a Playmobil knight named Hype. His journey is prompted by the Curse of Barnak, which has displaced him through time, and his objective is to navigate back to his own era.

Gameplay consists of progressing through a series of 2D platform levels. Advancement requires locating specific objects within each stage. The knight is equipped with a sword for basic combat and can also learn to cast spells from a wizard encountered in the adventure.

In addition to melee attacks, Hype can utilize a bow, though arrows for it must be purchased. Success depends on a combination of platform navigation, combat, and the strategic use of these acquired tools and abilities.
