About Papyrus

Papyrus is a Game Boy Color platformer adapted from a Belgian comic and animated series. The story involves the rescue of Princess Theti, who has been kidnapped by the High Priest Seth in an ancient Egyptian setting. Players initially control the young Egyptian Papyrus, with the princess becoming playable after her rescue.

Movement and combat actions include jumping, attacking with punches or thrown stones, and climbing or hanging from environmental features like vines and cracks. The adventure spans 21 levels, which incorporate seven boss encounters. A secret level is accessible by linking two Game Boy Color systems via their infrared ports using a specific item.
