About NBA 3 on 3 featuring Kobe Bryant
NBA 3 on 3 featuring Kobe Bryant is a handheld basketball title for the Game Boy Color, utilizing the complete roster of teams and players from the 1999-2000 NBA season. Its presentation employs an isometric court view, a perspective also found in certain earlier console basketball titles.
Multiple game modes are supported, including exhibition matches, a full season, and playoffs, all of which allow for rule customization such as adjusting quarter length. While the on-court action is limited to three players per side, the game includes standard basketball maneuvers and the ability to make substitutions. Player statistics and team authenticity are incorporated into the design.
Additional features consist of a create-a-player function for custom rosters and a trading system for managing team personnel. The game also offers a two-player mode for competitive play.
